I didn’t make it to the final round of @projectrunandplay, but I did make this landscape appliqué shirt in case I did! 😍 I used the @patternsforpirates basic tee and it was the perfect base for the complicated appliqué. I’ve never done one this involved and it was quite the process, but I’m obsessed with the outcome. I’ve always wondered how people do these kinds of things, and I’m not sure there’s a right or wrong way but this is what I did. I forgot to show in the reel that I also used heat n bond, ironed the pieces on, and then top stitched as well. Fingers crossed it stays put! 😂

I’m back for @projectrunandplay week three! One of the designers had to drop out and I was invited to return, so here I am. 🥇

I cannot get over this outfit I sewed for @projectrunandplay week 2! The theme is “Into the Woods” which was perfect for my kids, they’d prefer if we literally lived in the woods. 😂
